Math/Social Support and Co-teaching
I moved to South Carolina, specifically Rock Hill, in 2017 and began my teaching career as a resource teacher in Chester County at Great Falls Elementary. I hold bachelor’s degrees in special education and early childhood education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. I grew up just outside of Pittsburgh, PA and love my Pittsburgh sports teams! My wife Jamie and I have been married since July 2018 and have two pets: our dog, Lola, and our cat, Miller. We moved to Lexington in May 2019, and we are so happy to be here. We are continuing to explore new places in the area. I enjoy spending my time outside, on the lake, or at the gym. I will also be the assistant boys’ basketball coach here at Beechwood Middle School. Go Bengals! email@example.com
ELA Support and Co-teaching
I am thrilled to be joining the Bengal family this year. I come to the Beech from Meadow Glen Middle and Oak Grove Elementary where I divided my time teaching resource classes at both schools. I graduated from Indiana University in 1994 with a degree in Special Education. After teaching in Virginia and South Carolina, I elected to stay home with my children for several years and returned to teaching three years ago when my oldest started college. My teaching certification is highly qualified in the areas of Learning Disabilities (K-12) and Elementary Education, and I also have the Read to Succeed endorsement. I am currently working on my master’s degree at USC. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and attending theater and musical performances of all kinds. firstname.lastname@example.org

I have been teaching since 2018, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Beechwood family. I earned my bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of South Carolina, Aiken. I am the staff representative for the Special Olympics Unified Program and the Special Olympics Fan Club. I previously taught at Pleasant Hill Middle School. I have been married to my husband, Chris, since 2017, and we have a dog named Nola. We love to travel, camp, and spend time in Clemson! My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I am thrilled to have a small part in helping your child grow here at Beechwood.
ESOL and RTI
I am excited to be a part of Beechwood Middle School and Lexington One as the RtI and ESOL teacher. Prior to becoming a Bengal, I taught ESOL at the elementary and middle school level at several schools in the Lexington Two School District from 2014 to 2019. I am an alumna of Clemson University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, and of the University of South Carolina, where I received a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching English and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Married for 27 years, my husband and I have a daughter and a son. I love quilting, reading, walking at Saluda Shoals, and kayaking on the Saluda River. I look forward to being a part of the growth of our brilliant Beechwood Bengals! email@example.com
